The Beehive design of this Oster blender is what gives the design its strength. If you are blending large quantities of something then this design will allow you to blend liquids / semi-liquids fast and easy.

As with all things though common-sense has to be used and never attempt to blend boiling liquids without allowing them to cool down first.
