So, don't hesitate to give this irresistible recipe a try – your taste buds will thank you!

Ingredients

2.5kg Chicken wings

1 Chicken stock block

Oil for frying

Sauce:

100ml Hoisin sauce

100ml Sweet chili sauce

1 teaspoon Garlic, crushed

100ml Orange juice

2 tablespoons Oyster sauce

2 tablespoons Black bean sauce

2 tablespoons Rice wine vinegar

Method

Place the chicken in a large pot and cover with water, add the chicken stock block (or you can boil in liquid chicken stock). Bring to a boil then reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for 15-20 minutes. Drain and cool down in the fridge overnight, you want the skin to be dry.

Combine all the ingredients for the sauce and whisk to combine, set aside.

Heat your oil to 180°C and fry your wings in batches till golden and crispy, be careful as the oil can spit. Drain on kitchen paper.

In a large bowl add the chicken and sauce and toss well to combine, serve while still hot.
