Chocolate Rice Bubble Slice

A decadent sweet treat! I received this recipe from an Australian friend, and she

made this treat whenever we took the kids to the park.


265g (5 x 53g) Mars bars, coarsely chopped

50g Butter

60ml Golden syrup

140g Rice Krispies

200g Milk chocolate, melted

Extra Mars bars for decoration


Grease and line a 20cm x 30cm baking tray.

Add the Mars bars, butter, and syrup to a saucepan, heat over low heat until the chocolate is melted, and stir until smooth.

Stir in the rice krispies.

Pour the mixture into your tray and press down to form a smooth top.

Pour over the melted chocolate and refrigerate for 2-3 hours.

Cut into squares.

Garnish with chopped Mars bars or any other decoration you prefer.
