The beauty of ready-made chicken schnitzels lies in their simplicity. All you need to do is grab a pack from the store, heat them, and voila! You have a hot and satisfying meal in minutes. Whether you're a busy professional, a parent juggling multiple responsibilities, or simply someone who appreciates a quick and tasty dinner, these schnitzels are a game-changer.


Why not turn your schnitzel in parmigiana? Or top with cheese or mushroom sauce? I love to serve my schnitzel with mash or potato wedges and a salad.

Chicken Parmigiana


Ingredients

4 Crumbed chicken schnitzels

1 cup Tomato pasta sauce

4 slices Shaved ham

1 cup Mozzarella cheese, grated


Method

Heat a frying pan with some oil over medium heat. Cook schnitzels till golden brown on each side, and drain on kitchen paper.

Place the schnitzels on a baking tray.

Top the schnitzel with the ham, spread 2-3 tablespoons of tomato sauce on each schnitzel, and top with cheese.

Grill for 3-4 minutes till the cheese is melted.


Blue Cheese Schnitzel


Ingredients

4 Chicken Schnitzels

50g butter

2 tbsp plain flour

300ml milk

100g Blue cheese, chopped


Method

Melt the butter in a saucepan over a medium heat.

Whisk in the flour and let cook for a couple of minutes.

Slowly pour in the milk, whisking constantly, until the sauce is smooth and all the milk has been added.

Bring the mixture to a simmer and stir in the cheese, simmer till slightly thickened, and season with salt and pepper.

Heat a frying pan with some oil over medium heat. Cook schnitzels till golden brown on each side, and drain on kitchen paper.

Top schnitzels with sauce when serving.
